A cold wash on a gentle cycle with a natural detergent is recommended, followed by hang drying. Hand washing is also a suitable option. If delicates are not separated, a laundry bag should be used to help protect the fabric from damage.

To reduce the need for frequent washing, garments can be aired or frozen, with stains spot cleaned as needed. Airing helps eliminate odours and can be done by leaving clothing outside overnight. Freezing helps remove smells, mildew, and moths and is most effective when done for 6 to 12 hours.
